I just had to register a book on www.bookcrossing.com and when the number came up - each book is allocated a unique ID number - it was 10000702. That's ten million seven hundred and two books registered on bookcrossing.
I registered one yesterday and it was 9997456 and I idly thought that the ten millionth book should be soonI think it's wonderful!
